Iconic American brand, Lilly Pulitzer, was started in the early 50’s when the wife of Peter Pulitzer, devised a simple shift dress in vibrant colors that would camouflage the juice stains she got amidst the fruit trees and juices so much a part of her Palm Beach lifestyle. The "classic shift dress" shot to international fame and demand when Lilly's old schoolmate Jacqueline Kennedy, was photographed wearing a "Lilly" while on vacation.

Reflecting a casual, carefree, resort-based lifestyle, Lilly Pulitzer's fashions became popular among socialites and celebrities and now claims a 50-year, multi-generational customer base.

With a huge, almost cult-like following, fans of the brand can now have a lifestyle that includes everything Lilly from dresses, skirts, shorts, and bathing suits to shoes, wedding invitations, wrapping paper, even ornaments!

Easily identifiable, colorful, prints and patterns are still designed by hand in the Lilly studios.
